Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC Attorney Jennifer B. Lyday recently joined the Winston-Salem Symphony Board of Directors. She will be serving on the Board through 2026.

During the past 75 years, the Winston-Salem Symphony has grown into a nationally recognized regional orchestra employing 75 professional musicians on a per-service basis. Currently, the full orchestra performs 35-40 concerts per year. The Symphony also boasts a 120-voice volunteer Chorus and an inspiring music education program including in-school ensemble programs, young people’s concerts, an Academy for young students, and a Youth Orchestras program consisting of three youth orchestras. Education programs produce over 28,000 student encounters annually.

Several of our attorneys attended the Plaintiffs Asbestos Litigation Seminar (PALS) last week in Las Vegas. Tom Waldrep and John Babcock spoke on a panel titled “Texas Two Step Bankruptcies (Canon 7).” Jennifer Lyday and Ciara Rogers spoke on a panel titled “Fraud, Deceit and Misrepresentation Are Not Excused as Zealous Representation (Canon 7) – Fraudulent Bankruptcy Examples, Public Perceptions of Litigation, the Bar & Bankruptcy Updates.”

Ciara L. Rogers recently attended the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys’ (NACBA) 31st Annual Convention in Washington D.C. April 27-30, 2023. At the conference on April 29, she presented on the topic “Subchapter V Nuts & Bolts” with the Honorable Michelle M. Harner, Rebecca F. Redwine, and Dan Press.
