Our Story
Born of a merger between Waldrep LLP and Wall Babcock LLP in October 2020, Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC is an experienced business law firm in North Carolina. Our defining characteristic is that we combine sophisticated solutions with individualized service. The four named partners – Tom Waldrep, Jim Wall, John Babcock, and Dennis Bailey – worked together as partners in another firm over 25 years ago. Eventually, they all left and went their separate ways. John, Dennis, and Jim later formed Wall Babcock LLP. Meanwhile, Tom served as a United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Middle District of North Carolina. A couple of years after Tom left the bench and started his own firm, the four decided to merge their complementary practices.
The firm has thrived since its inception in 2020. A year later, the firm moved into its “traditionally modern” office at 370 Knollwood Street, Suite 600 to allow for expansion and growth in Winston-Salem. And in 2022, Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC broadened its presence into Raleigh, opening an office on Glenwood Avenue, near Crabtree Valley Mall.
