WWBB Attorney Evan Lee To Serve on Education Section Council of NCBA

Congratulations to WWBB Attorney Evan Lee who was recently elected to serve as a member of the Education Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) through the 2025 term!

The Education Law Section of the NCBA promotes education of and networking among attorneys serving schools K-12 and colleges, administrators, employees, faculty, and students. The Section also provides broad coverage of legal perspectives.

The Education Law Section values the perspective of both management and public education employee representatives. The Section focuses on issues including the Excellent Schools Act, education financing and employment, and developing programs to reach higher education attorneys. Additionally, the Section sponsors CLE programs and services, provides members with a blog, and helps mold the association’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.

Food and beverage establishments come together for breakfast, lunch, dinner and more in a day of feel-good eating to make a difference in our community.

Jan Yarborough's Photo Wins First Place Award

Jan Yarborough, Partner at Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC, was recently awarded first place in the Visual Art, Digital Photography category for her photo “Sadie at 101” by the Wake County Senior Games. Sadie is Jan’s mother-in-law (and she is now 102 years old!). This win qualifies Jan to enter the photo in the State Senior Games to be held later in the year.
