4ALL Statewide Service Day, held this year on March 4, is an annual call-a-lawyer pro bono program that engages hundreds of volunteer attorneys to provide free legal information to thousands of North Carolinians, from the mountains to the coast. 4ALL is the NC Bar Foundation’s largest annual pro bono program. Each spring, Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC lawyers join forces to provide advice, information, and resources to callers seeking information regarding North Carolina-related legal matters. Furthermore, our attorneys take an active role in promoting and mobilizing their peers to participate in this pro bono event.

Jennifer Lyday Participates as Expert Panelist at the 2022 IWIRC 19th Annual Spring Conference

Our very own Jennifer Lyday was one of the expert panelists at the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation's (IWIRC) 19th Annual Spring Conference held this year in Washington D.C. from April 27 to April 28.

For more than 25 years, IWIRC has been connecting women worldwide. Across the board room, courtroom and the continents, their diverse relationships make IWIRC the premier organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency professions.

WWBB Attorney Evan Lee To Serve on Education Section Council of NCBA

Congratulations to WWBB Attorney Evan Lee who was recently elected to serve as a member of the Education Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) through the 2025 term!

The Education Law Section of the NCBA promotes education of and networking among attorneys serving schools K-12 and colleges, administrators, employees, faculty, and students. The Section also provides broad coverage of legal perspectives.

The Education Law Section values the perspective of both management and public education employee representatives. The Section focuses on issues including the Excellent Schools Act, education financing and employment, and developing programs to reach higher education attorneys. Additionally, the Section sponsors CLE programs and services, provides members with a blog, and helps mold the association’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
